Day 1 Arrival Transfer – Colombo Air Port /Negombo

Arrival at the Bandaranaike international airport in Sri Lanka. you will be met our chauffeur of Sea Wings Lanka holidays with happy welcome and assisted on arrival and transfer to hotel in neighboring city where your tour in Sri Lanka will begin at Sea Wings Lanka Holidays. Depending on the time of the day in which you have arrived, you may have time to go on a Muthurajawela boat ride where Muthurajawela Marsh, which evocatively translates as ‘Supreme Field of Pearls’, is a little-known gem of a wetland at the southern end of Negombo’s lagoon. A boat ride offers sightings of some 75 bird species, including purple herons, cormorants and kingfishers, as well as crocodiles, monkeys and even some very rarely seen otters Negombo.

Day -2- Negombo/Sigiriya

After a warm breakfast at the hotel proceed to Sigiriya En-route visit for the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela, which is a home to about 70 Elephants found abandoned or orphaned in the wild. Also, accompany the Elephants to a river close by to see them having their daily baths. .on completion drive to Sigiriya and Sigiriya is the rock fortress built 5 th century A.D during the reign of king kasyapa .  It’s a unique combination of 5th century urban planning, architecture, engineering, hydraulic engineering, garden landscape designing, sculpture, art, painting and poetry. Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is of immense archeological significance: it is one of the best preserved and most elaborate surviving urban sites in the South Asia from the first millennium A.D. see the water garden, Bolder Garden, mural paintings, the mirror wall, the lion’s paws and swimming pool on top.

Day-03- Sigiriya/ Polonaruva /Habarana

After breakfast proceed to the world heritage site of Polonnaruva , which was the second medieval city of Sri Lanka after the destruction of Anuradhapura ( 11th to 13th centuries AD), The polonnaruva period is regarded as the golden age of agriculture in Sri Lanka Polonnaruva is strewn with ruins in a resplendent state of preservation. Of these massive structure of king’s royal palace, the ‘Vatadage’ the ‘Thuparama Image house’ and the ‘Gal vihara’ are the most spectacular and also visit the monuments such as Tivankha Image House, Parakhramabahu Statue, Watadage, Hatadage & Archaeological Museum. On completion return back to Sigiriya and relaxing at the hotel .

Day-04-Sigiriya/Dambulla/Kandy

After breakfast proceed to kandy ,En route visit the Dambulla Cave Temple & spice garden. The most impressive rock temple dating to the 1 st century BC and temple of Dambulla a UNESCO world heritage site . it was built by King walaagamba in 89 BC -77BC .Before this period also many monks were living this caves in meditations . Those things were proven by inscriptions , On completion leave fo Kandy. Kandy was the last capital of the ancient King’s era of Sri Lanka. It is a world heritage site declared by UNESO as leaving city and sacred tooth relic .In the evening visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and thereafter witness a cultural show.

Day-05- Kandy /Ramboda water fall /Tea factory /Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast at the hotel and leave for Nuwara Eliya. En route visit Rambods water fall and Sri Lanka’s tea growing highlands. It is pretty sure, you like to enjoy the “Tea experience” which Involves a visit to a plantation to observes the process, starting from the plucking field where it all Begins with the picking of “ two leaves and bud to the factory where the processing begins . up on completion drive to Nuwara Eliya .The little England of Sri Lanka , it is really just like an English spring day,although the temperature does drop at night. The city over looked by pidurutalagala, the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka. All around the Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the English influence.

Day-06- Nuwara Eliya / Ella

After breakfast at the hotel and leave to Nanu oya Train station to embark on a most beautiful Train rides. The train from Nanu Oya to Ella, higher up in the mountains, is one of the most scenic train rides in the world and a favourite activity among tourists coming to Sri Lanka. First class is comfortable but second class is the most memorable because you ride with the locals. Watch out for the open doors and try some vadai, a local snack that is always available on trains. Ella is a quaint little town and at about 1000 meters above sea level. The privileged location of the town between the lowland rainforests and the highland tea plantations makes for a great rest stop while touring Sri Lanka .There are all sorts of accommodations and the food is varied in the restaurants that line the main road. Ella is a favourite among day hikers and more experienced trekkers alike. The two famous treks in the area are Little Adam’s Peak and Ella Rock and also one of the World beautiful nine arch railway bridge in the area .The Ella Gap is a advantaged spot in the surrounding mountains that provides views of the lowland jungles and rainforests with vistas of the tea plantations higher up.

Day-07- Ella /Ravana water fall /Yala national Park

After breakfast at the hotel spend few hours with beautiful nature experience in the Ella area and leave to Yala national park .En-route visit Ravana waterfall and in the even go for a wild life tour in Yala national park, The second –largest national park in the country and the park is best known for its variety of wild animals which is also an important for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants,leopards and aquatic birds.

Day-08- Yala National park /Galle Dutch Fortress /Bentoa

After breakfast at the hotel leave for Galle. Galle was known as Gimhathiththa before the arrival of the Portugese in the 16 th century when it was the main port on the island .Galle is the best examples of a fortified city built by the Portuguese in south and southeast Asia, Showing the interaction between Portuguese architectural styles and native traditions .The city was extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17 th century from 1949 onwards. The Galle fort is a world heritage site and is the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers. On completion the Gall fort leave to Bentoa and en-route you can enjoy the Southern coastal sea road drive.

Day-09- Relax at the beach /Turtle hatchery

Littering blue waters, wave-lashed rocks, swaying coconut trees, azure blue skies kissing the horizon and powder –soft golden sands. Lazing on sun desk, the mesmerizing view of the sea will leave you speechless .it is your relaxing day at a beautiful southern beach. Also you can visit kosgoda Turtle hatchery and go on a boat cruise on the Bentota River.

Day-10- Departure Transfer- The Bandaranaike International Air Port

Transfer back to your return flight back home from bentota after an amazing tour of Sri Lanka and Say Good Bye until see you Again.
